Membership Management System
RJM Information Technologies was approached by a Charity with it's HQ in Crewe. They had an existing Application written some time ago in Visual Basic 6 with 3rd party custom controls using an Access Database. The system was in need of some modification and new functionally was required. The design brief was simple. The existing system was to be rewritten with existing functionality changed where necessary and to include a new Fund Raiser tracking component.
The decision was made to create the project using Microsoft's Visual Studio 2005 (Visual Basic.Net), using a SQL Server 2005 Express Database and using Microsoft Excel for data exporting and reporting functions. A major design goal was not to rely on 3rd party controls.
